The game began development in 2002 and was originally scheduled for release on the Xbox and Playstation 2 by the end of 2004. Well, 2004 came and went, and Acclaim, as I'm sure you know, filed for bankruptcy, leading to The Red Star being delayed. That is, until it was picked up in 2006 by XS Games, and finally released in April of 2007, but only for the PS2! Now that's quite a delay!
