Another new Playstation ISO update to keep our loyal visitors busy with those pesky games! This time around, I've added Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted Metal 4 to our collection along-with Wipeout 3 - Special Edition. All three are excellent titles for the Sony Playstation and definitely classics that are worth checking out! It's been a LONG while since I've added any new Playstation ISO's to the site. This time around, I've decided to put up Cookie Monster's uploads, Driver (U) and Street Fighter Alpha 3 (U). Both titles were groundbreaking releases on the PSX. These PSX ISO's are great to check out over any weekend as they provide great entertainment. You can choose to burn these ISO's to a CD and play them on your PS1/PS2, OR you could get EPSXE from our emulators section and use that to play these titles.

We've been seeing increasing amounts of traffic over the last few weeks on the Bittorrent tracker and this resulted in high server loads. Thus, with a view to plan for the future we've changed our Bittorrent tracker back-end to the C++ XBT. Earlier, we were using the XBtit tracker and since this was coded in PHP, once we hit around 1000 peers our server load would start to spike up. This new back-end should be able to handle around 10,000 peers easily without any visible effect on server load.

There was some problem with importing your PID's into the new tracker but I'll be working on that as well as some other issues. You can still use the tracker as it is accepting anonymous downloads for now. We'll be re-enforcing the PID's once this issue is resolved.

Also, a slight change is that your tracker is now located at http://bt.emuparadise.org:6969/ and the announce URL is the same as before http://bt.emuparadise.org:8989/announce.php. Thus, you don't need to modify anything, your old torrents will still show up as seeded and active. All you need to do is access the tracker at the new address.

That is, good news for emulation fans cos shadow1204, one of @ES creators has announced in our forums that his fantastic frontend will be seeing an update in a couple of weeks.

It's going to include a bunch of new features including a dynamic search and many bugs fixed, you can check the complete list of changes in the link below. From what we've seen it looks great and the pictures posted are a proof of what they are planning.

Make sure to check EPforums regularly to be updated in any new concerning @ES and don't hesitate to make any suggestion to the developers, you have a direct line via our forums! ;)

@ES Beta 7 announced.

Some of our visitors might have noticed that we were experiencing latency problems over the last few weeks. The main site, forums and bittorrent tracker were all experiencing pings upwards of 3000ms, which ofcourse was ridiculous. Apparently it was a problem at our Canadian datacenter. We've thus decided to make a much needed move to a new server which is located in The Netherlands. Good move for our European and Asian visitors ofcourse! =)

We're still in the process of moving things over, you might find that certain parts of the website (forums, tracker, etc.) might be down while DNS propagates worldwide to point you over to our new server. The downloads server hasn't been moved so our visitors will not experience any change in download rates. We hope this move enables us to serve you better in the future.
