Your main objective is to knock your opponents off the boundaries of the stage, by using your characters arsenal of attacks and moves. The thing that makes this title stand out from other fighting games is that there is a percentage meter. When the percentage increases, you will get knocked further from the same move. You start out with 8 characters, and with using 1p mode, you can unlock 4 more characters and a new stage. This is a title that you will be coming back to once all characters are unlocked. this is a must have for the N64! The 4 player, fast paced, 3d action was a quick hit and now "Super Smash Bros" is a house hold name. This was one of the first games to introduce team style fighting as well as take advantage of meta polygon smoothing. If you are looking for a game that will keep you busy for a while, this is a must!!! The original is still excellent, because of a solid backbone of simplistic yet engrossing gameplay. Super Smash Brothers is worth your time, and that of a few eager friends - With a small learning curve yet plenty of leverage to master, solid controls and a focus on pure competitive enjoyment.
