As the second most successful video game media franchise in history (behind only Mario), Pokemon has had an immense world-wide cultural impact. Though some may belittle the series, no one can dispute the significance of the games that started it all.
Travel the world, catching and training a team of powerful pokemon. Defeat gym leaders to earn badges. Try to defeat all the gym leaders and the elite four before your rival does. And collect all 150 pokemon to claim your title as pokemon master.
Gameplay consists of a traditional RPG exploration mode, with a turn-based battle mode involving the use of a team of pokemon to fight.
*NOTE: To collect all 150 pokemon, you will also need Red version*
