This game was definitely one of the best sequels to the Sonic series. The mini-game was much improved and the Super Sonic mode was a welcome add-on. If you like the original you will be pleased with Sonic 2. Gameplay is basic, run from one side of the screen to the other, collect rings, use save point to enter the bonus world, and jump on, spin through, or avoid enemies. Upon playing it is easy to see why it was one of the signature games for the Sega Genesis.
