anyone ever used this before? it says it can play all ps2 back ups and imports and its a non soldering thing...is it reliable? cuase if so imay get it cause it doesnt solder and its cheaper, haha

Yeah, a modchip always works better :P
There are also more kinds of modchips that work good. There is also a MAgic 3.1 and a MAgic V modchip.

Well all modchips or slide cards will damage your PS2 to a certain degree since the chip will degrade as time pass. So the best way is to buy the games. ;)
But I am using a Magic V and I have a US V10 PS2 and it works like a charm.
astro can it play everything? like ps1 ps2 back up and imports? and dvds of all regions?
It should. If it doesn't something is wrong with it.
