Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People
Ahh... an older one of his, but still a very good song. The music video is kind of messed up, though.

Converge - Homewrecker
Full of awesome riffs and fills. Normally his fills are fairly straightforward, but fast. This song has a lot of tom rolls, etc.
Likely Story ~ One More Time
Likely Story's another band from New England, actually they all went to my high school. But anyways, about the song, it's about the girl you loved and should have asked out but never had the balls to....i think, i'm not good at listening to lyrics some times. it's in the song description though. If you go to MP3.com and go to dl the song it says what it's about. Plus you should dl it, it's really good if you're into punk or anything. If you want to know any other good NH bands just PM me or something :P or maybe i'll post a topic about local music...who knows.
PS- If anyone takes my idea, this post has my idea for posterity...unless it's already been done, then i'm an ass.
HIM - Salt In Our Wounds
The start of "Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights". I found that album a litte boring, but that song is quite good actually :)
Metallica - Cliff Burton's Last Bass Solo
Today is the 17th anniversary of Cliff's death, so I'm listening to this out of respect. A time to consider what could have been...
Hot Rod Circuit - The Pharmacist
I just like this song. It relates to my life rather well right now.
The Smashing Pumpkins - Infinite Sadness
A really nice instrumental that shows just how talanted the Pumpkins were. It was recorded in 1995 along with the Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness album, but sadly didn't make the record.
The Starting Line - Decisions, Desisions
awsome song, this song means something cause i kept listening to it during a mad hang over...the lyrics are really cool, and the guitar kicks ass....chorus is awsome
Muse - Stockholm Syndrome
There isn't really much point in me giving this any type of description, as everyone else has already said what could be said.
Lagwagon - E Dagger
From their newest album. Its just something about them that I like. I like the vocal even if it is a little weird.
Their newest album is called Blaze. The best song is probably Burn thou (at the album)
that cd's so good. If you put it in your comp. it has live videos of Mr. Coffee and May 16th from the 2002 warped tour, and the music video they made to Falling Apart (which is one of my faves on the album, along w/ dinner and a movie which sounds kinda like my life) click on the beaker too :DQuote:

sorry to ramble, but lagwagon is in my top 5 favorite bands, and my song right now is:
Unsung Zeros ~ Miracle
i dont know if i've posted this song before, but the lyrics really speak to me. I just listen to that song when i feel shitty, and it usually helps me out a little bit.

I know. I tested that. I was a bit dissapointed over the May16th live thing. it wasnt as good as it should be
DeLillos - Hjernen Er alene
Norwegian band....Hjernen er alene = the brain is alone
Very good band. Not traditional music. the vocal is weird, but thou very cool:D
Mew - Comforting Sounds
The original 8minute 44second masterpiece from the greatest thing to come out of Denmark since Peter Schimicheal. His high pitched vocals really bring out the songs poetic feel.
really? you didnt like that? I thought it was pretty good, but that's just me. I heard that there's an acoustic version too that's wicked good, but i havent heard it yet.Quote:

My song is:
Western Sky ~ Confessions of a Closet Capitalist
Western Sky's a local hardcore band. I love the screaming in this song, it's so angry sounding, i love it.
Less Than Jake - I Think I Love You
"Before I go and say it I hold my pillow to my head and spring up in my bed, screaming out the words I dread..."
