Sparta - Glasshouse Tarot
The lyrical style is sort of Yes-esque, I think. And the drummer is really good. At The Drive-In good, literally.

And you told me Glasshouse Tarot was drivel after I said it was one of the redeeming tracks on that album... nice.
Antioch Arrow - Gotta Love The Lights
Reaaaally not sure how to classify this. It's sort of emo, sort of hardcore, sort of postrock experimental... stuff. But it doesn't really sound like any of them in particular. It sounds pretty when the off-kilter piano kicks in and joins the guitar in buggering around.
They tell me I live in a democracy, so I have the right to change my mind.
Sparta - Air
Listening to the album whole now. Not as good as TMV or ATDI, but they remind me of The Strokes. The same generic sound.
Kid Dynamite - Never Met The Gooch
When I was in Mexico, we had "Capuchie" (piggyback) wars with the many street-children. Some kid whom I refer to as Macaulay Caulkin (as he was the mexican equivalent), kicked me square in the Gooch. Surprisingly, I didn't piss blood.
Sparta - Collapse
I really don't mind it. I can't really feel strong emotion over it, but it's OK. Even if the guy sounds like he's mumbling words written on his hand.
Five Iron Frenzy - The Phantom Mullet
Following Jimmy's reccomendation, I snagged a few FIF tracks. This song has a very 80's feel to it, which I like. I'll definetely be getting more songs by these guys... :)
Weezer - Keep Fishin
I'm giving Maladroit a much needed spin, since I haven't listened to it for a while.
Drowning Pool - Bodies
One of the few nu-metal-ish bands that I like, and they actually had talent to boot. Huge shame that Dave Williams died last year, I couldn't wait to see what they were going to do next. :(
Hangman, I haven't heard much of Maladroit, is it any good? I only have the Blue Album, but I saw Maladroit in Sanity the other day and didn't know whether or not to get it...
Pink Floyd ~ Money
I picked up Dark Side Of The Moon much too late in my life :(. But at least I still have it :D
At least you have it. Listening to Soundgarden-Burden in my handQuote:

Yeh Maladroit is pretty sweet, just as good as the Blue Album in my opinion, it's a bit more rockier. Plus you can pick it up for about seven quid.Quote:

At The Drive-In - Pattern Against User
DIALATED! Excellent power, as with the whole album, not really progtasmic guitar or anything, mostly repeated to get power going. Random lyrics, but that's a good thing.
Iron Maiden - Montsegur
Great tune from "Dance of Death"
Dream Theater - Home
From the progtasmic Metropolis Pt 2 album. One of the standout tracks, also fast becoming one of my favourites. Others worth mention, for me at least, or Beyond This Life and The Dance of Eternity.
Metallica - Blackened
I know most of the riffs from this now. I still need to learn the lead in the intro, and the bit following the interlude. Anyway, my fourth favourite Metallica song, it's from 1988's "...And Justice For All"...
