Time to nit pick some more I personally would have gone for a 21" CRT instead of a 19" LCD if you would have the desk space, even w/ the fastest LCDs it is still better w/ CRT, I never trust 52x burners, they spin too fast, that's how you can end up w/ exploding CD drives, even Plextor doesn't trust it at that speed and requires that u unlock the drive to push to full 52x. I don't see why u need the jazz drive when u have a DVD burner, u probably could have saved a little w/ that. Another thing I would drop is the wireless keyboard mouse, even if you have a lot of open space, unless you hook your computer up to a TV it won't be all that useful, the slower speeds of the wireless signals can also be a hassle, unless it's one of the new Logitech MX mice

Ok, I think I'm done nit-picking as much as I complained, ur system isn't bad, I'll give you that, but I get picky myself when it comes to specific parts

Thanks. I bought all of that just over a year ago. I spent $300 on the vid card, 99 for the sound, and I forgot the rest. lol. It was a $500 setup. $500 for everything down to... where the speakers start and including the DVD drive. I bought the speakers for $150 2 years before I upgraded I think.

EDIT: The 17" ViewSonic LCD was $500, brand new, off of ebay, which was a graduation gift. It worked excellent as a space saver for my first year of college. I don't even notice the ghosting effect in games such as CounterStrike or movies.
