    Default Ftp Problem

I'm not really sure if this belongs in Bazaar it but it is sorta a trading problem. Well anyway, I have cable, and me and my bro's comp are connected to a router. When people download off me it effects his speed and he gets pissed of so I have to stop. My bro plays games online just about 24/7, so it makes it pretty damn hard to trade. Anyone know a way so it won't effect his speed?

    Thanks in advance

Well unless you guys get another cable modem there isnt another way, since you're sharing 1 connection or maybe im wrong. But I think you cant unless you get another modem for the other comp

Like LastStandin said, if you guys don't share the same Internet connection - IE, you get another modem - then it won't affect his speeds. You could limit the download/upload speed, however, to a really low speed. That way it shouldn't take so much of the bandwidth, but will elapse over a much longer period of time.

    Yes, you can.
Limit the upload speed your computer is able to do. I don't know what ftp program your running but it should be under options and file transfer section.

Just reply with the ftp program u run and me or someone else here will reply really quick.

Graphics, and 3D polygons don't make great games, story-lines do!!
