I remember some wanker by the name of Nam that made a similar thread about this a few months ago, haven't seen him post in a while though...

Anyways, I've never bought a vinyl before, nor do I think I would since I don't have a record player and having music on those records are just not really practical, considering I listen to all my music from my PC or CD player...

My brother has a bunch of them, including a few Nirvana, Guns n Roses, Metallica, Duff, RHCP, and the first Pearl Jam record(he was the first person to get the record in my home island ). He gets a new Pearl Jam LP(in 7" format) in the mail every year, since he's a member of the PJ fan club...

I saw a Morbid Angel record at a flea market for dirt cheap, but meh.

I have Pretty Girls Make Graves vinyl for The New Romance. They are massively into the vinyl scene and like to release some of their stuff on vinyl. It's rather cool. Other than that, all I have is Nirvana - Nevermind.

First album I ever bought... got it on CD for about 17 bucks years ago... It's not as good as "In Utero", but it rules.

I don't have that. I need to get that but more urgent is the need to get the truly excellent 'Color And The Shape'. I have it on cd of course but I got rid of my cd player about a year ago.

Same here, it's easily the best Foo Fighter album. My vinyl copy of the first album is a USA import too, mint condition, got it for 7...

I've been looking into getting my friend Steff a Nirvana vinyl for Christmas. She has a couple of rare Ramones LPs in frames in her room, but she's got nothing by Nirvana. It's depressing. So, which album do you think I should get? I'm thinking no to Nevermind just because of the naked child on it. That's just... wrong on so many levels.

In Utero is my favourite Nirvana album. It's almost The Melvins, but with pop sensibility. To get any album, try these search engine before you try egay...I meant ebay

www.gemm.com
www.musicstack.com

Both are search engines and are not responsible for the stores it finds. However, both manage the transaction for the shop, supply is controlled by the stoee. gemm and musicstack are terrific services.

Yeh, big up to In Utero. But Nevermind is still cool.
