Judas Priest - Breaking The Law

I've been playing and singing along to this all morning. If only I had an electric, so I could palm mute properly, or I could hear harmonics. *sigh* This songs basically power chords, but it's one hella catchy riff, driven by the simple, yet blatantly non-conformist lyrics...

    FFX - Prelude

Why am I listening to VGM? I really don't know. Worst FF Prelude ever though. Damn techno can die.

    Led Zeppelin - Trampled Underfoot

I'm seconds away from starting to dance, that bassline is so damn funky! There's some sort of weird effect on the vocals in this though, and I don't like it. Great song overall though...

Misfits - Return of the Fly

:O! Back to the punk. Revisiting the coolness that is the Misfits. Love this song, it's just plain. It's all bass line, and bass line is a sick one. YEAH!

Iron Maiden - No More Lies

While screwing around with scales today, I figured out the intro to this, and I couldn't remember what I was playing, and it took me about 30 minutes to find it on my hard drive, I went through tons of bands. It's a great song, but Harris has written it a few times before...

    Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes

I got a bootleg of the album recently from a flea market, but I'll definetly be buying the real thing when I can, it's a really excellent album... This is definetly one of my favourite songs on it, and Matt Bellamy's singing talent really shines through...

That's my favourite song from the album. My favourite parts are the opening bassline to Hysteria, and the orgasm at the end of Stockholm Syndrome though.

Al Dimeola, John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia - Short Tales Of The Black Forest (Live)

This is virtuosity at it's finest, 3 of the world's best guitarists all playing acoustics. They even jam stuff out in the middle of the song...

Yeah, I love Hysteria too, I read a review that called it a sellout song, but I actually thought it was good, maybe not single material, but certainly up to the standard of most of the other songs on the album. And the bassline indeed kicks ass.

    Linkin Park - Faint

Yes, Linkin Park do have just about the most annoying fan base in existence, seems every 11 year old skater wannabe worships them, at least in Scotland, but that small fact aside I do actually quite like them, they've done a lot of good stuff, and a lot of bad stuff. This is the second single off their newest album, and is not bad by any means...

Hot Rod Circuit - The Pharmacist

XKR told me to download this song. It's very interesting, even if the lead singer has a rather grating voice to listen to. I like the lyrics, they sort of apply to me right now.

    Muse - Plug In Baby

For all those people that have done their Muse revision, Absolution makes itself known on the 22nd. I am recapping some of the more "punkish" (dare I say) Muse tracks, and of thse this is my fav.

Sanity said they wont have it until the 29th. I'll be away anyway, I'll have to find a store. And seriously Zaladane, how many times have I warned you in here?

Smashing Pumpkins - The Everlasting Gaze

It's probably their heaviest song, tuned down 2 steps and all. Like Stockholm Syndrome, the best part is the orgasm at the end...

*Murderous rampage sounds can be heard in background*

Queens Of The Stone Age - No One Knows

Nice bass, nice drums and the psycho Dave Grohl fast forward clip thing effect. Excellent.
