Mine is 1280x768, wish I could get like 2048x1536

2048x1536 ouch ... eye strain..
I have mine set at 800x600 desktop and most gaming, but when I want to see more of the screen area while playing fps I do 1024x768, but always keep my desktop at 800x600.

I always used to use 800x600 on this 17" as 1024x768 looked too small.

Now I'm used to 1024x768 and 800x600 looks too big :p

I use 1024 by 768 as its more pixels than 800 by 600 is and I just tell windows to make the icons and font sizes a little bigger. I use a higher resolution because its just that more pixels on the screen, therefore better quality.
I wouldnt want to use photoshop in any lower resolution, if my pc were good enough I would double my screen res in an instant.

Yeah, that's my reason too I have pretty bad eyesight, so anything above 1024x768 is pretty much unreadable to me

1280x960, i used to use 1024x768 but since i changed to 1280x960, 1024x768 looks way too small
