Yes I know it's my name but Trivium is the name of the best Heavy-Metal band of all time. Yes I know that has been said alot by alot of people but I swear to you, they are prodigies x10. If you dont believe me, click on their website in my signature (the bottom one), go to downloads and check out what they are made of. Matt/The lead vocal/guitar just turned 18 about a month ago and he has got one of the best voices and guitar skills I have ever heard ever since the combo of Ozzy and Zakk Wylde ,Corey/guitar can tear up any stage with is skills, just as good as Matt and he is 19,Brent/Bass Guitar can make a backstreet boys song sound like heavy metal plus he is 20 years old, and Travis/Drums is defiently among one of the best drummers in the past 50 years and he is only 21. If there was ever an album that you had to buy, it would be their debut album "Ember To Inferno". It runs about 45 minutes with 3 instrumentals but each one kicks ass in its own way. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being "Godlike", the album in music,lyrics,vocal,replay-value and every thing else,it's easily a 50 at least. So I'll stop plugging them now and let you see what they are made of yourself. (^__^)

I downloaded some songs and I tohught they were ok. nothing more than that.

The song To Burn The Eye got boring after 5 mins. They need more guitar solos. Im not so much into ths shouting thing. I like some melodic voice more.

I havent downloaded many song, but if they have some with more melodic voice and some guitar solos I think this will be good

I downloaded one of their songs a while ago (If I Could Collapse The Masses) and it was mediocre. How the hell can you boast these guys are the best metal band ever? They're more like a blase hardcore band with somewhat grindcore vocals. If you're impressed by this, go listen to [band (song)]: The Blood Brothers (Ambulance Vs. Ambulance) or Dillinger Escape Plan (Abe The Cop) or Between The Buried And Me (Mordecai) or Converge (The Saddest Day) or you get the idea...

Of course, if I've inadvertently downloaded their worst song ever and their usual standard is much higher or something, go right ahead and recommend me a song that'll blow me away.

Yea, they do have better songs. Buy the cd and you will see. Also download the song "Like Light To The Flies" which is not on their cd because I think that it is their best song. You can hear it on my webpage in my sig.

I downloaded the song, it was an improvement on the last but still not as great as you make it out to be. You might like to check out some other hardcore bands, starting with the ones I mentioned, just to get a feeling of what else is out there. Between The Buried And Me is the closest to Trivium genre-wise.

I checked out the bands and I know of Between THe Buried and me and they are to much death metal (thats what I call them) and that is not what I am into.

ugh...I'll stick to the local bands...besides, I never did like metal much...I'm an emo/ska nerd (don't hit me!) The closest to metal I listen to is Stutterfly, they are SOOOOOOOO awesome, and local too
