But you never see the victims of capitalism, which there are as long as people starve. No one starves in China, for example. They're poor, and workplace laws are shit, but they don't starve. People starve in the US, even.

EDIT: For example, there's a state in Southern India which operates on a mostly Communist system. It has free healthcare and a 100% literacy rate (each person instructed at least one person). They have other notable staples of a Communist government, but these don't come off the top of my head. The people there don't starve. Thus, the people in India who DO starve could be equated victims of capitalism.

Quite true. Kerela is one Indian state, where the left movement has really suceeded. From simply boycott of multinationals, to the satisfaction of the basic minimum for all, it's all been done. Surprisingly, even Cuba has had a strong left sucess.
