He was in exile when the revolution broke out in Zurich. He had mobilized the Red Army in 1918 to fight foreign invasion and helped fight the Civil War.
The only time I recall of him fleeing was when he feared his time had come and fled to Finland, in 1917, after their Bolshevik coup that summer had failed and they and lost elections to the Mensheviks and the Social Revolutionaries.
This was the time he had handed over the party to Trotsky's leadership.

Correct me, if I didn't understand:
Bum is ass.
Flag is a sign(for example japan flag is white thingy with red circle in the middle)
So if my definitions are correct, you want to say that some people sticks a flag in their bum???It's not kind of a thing i would like to do.
And girls can't stick a flag in their bum? IMHO every sane human girl or not wouldn't do that.
Or there might be case I missed some other meaning of either bum and flag. I'm not really good at english.
