Upload/download Ration?

Is there any way of making a upload/download ration for this place?
cause there is a lot of fucking leechers here that just dowloads all the games but dont seed them later.
Is there any possibility that this place will have that?

Probably, but it would take alot of work to keep together. Besides, you can't force people to seed. People can't seed because of a shocking upload speed (Dial-up) or because they don't have the time. Its sad, I know, but it does happen. Its just something we have to deal with I think...

Someone wanna clarify the question, cause I don't know if it would be possible or not...

Make the people sign up to use the tracker, then monitor they're upload/download ratio, anyone with a share ratio less than 1, gets banned.

I think it could be something we have to deal with. If you want something for free, then you're gonna have to deal with some pricks along the way. It might not be cool or anything, but its either that or paying for a game or something.

I'd love a ratio system personally. Dial up is not an excuse not to at least seed a little back.

And personally, I wouldn't like to see a ratio system. Just because a month you can't really upload because your short on bandwidth doesn't mean you never upload.
I also hate to see a torrent you need to signup with the tracker, and most of the time the tracker signup page is buggy. :\ You wouldn't even imagine how much time I saw this.

And if you don't wanna upload, just don't start a torrent.
If it wasn't for my bandwidth limit, I would seed hundreds of things every month, mainly because I don't care if people take it while i'm not using it, and most of the time I use only a small percentage to chit chat, download (yes it uses a bit of upload) and view web pages.

Also, a couple of ISP gives limits like 10Gb download and 5gb upload. As you can see, you can download 2 times what you can upload. I try to use all of my bandwidth each month, why pay for something you don't use.

i think that a ration tracker would be a waste of time, because while it does keep everything running very quickly, i used to be on a 56k and even though i left it on all the time my dl would always exceed my upload, so people like that shouldnt get banned for not having a good connection, but now that ive gotten a t1 i get a much better ration just because of the huge bandwidth, so it would not be fair to anyone at all
