Dracula X Rondo of Blood Translation in the works

Atlast there is work on a translation again for this great Turbografx 16 CD/PC Engine Super CD

Personly I would grab what you can while you can with this as there have been past projects that got canned because of Konami putting a stop to them

Please do not confuse the game with the SNES Castlevania X/Dracula XX game, this one is 100% beter to any of the lame SNES Castlevania games, though the SNES ones are great they are nothing to Rondo of Blood

This one has 3 endings and plenty of hidden secrets plus many levels that you can choose your way through

There are 2 playable characters aswell
Richter Belmont Vampire Killer
Maria Renard (Very Young version) Vampire Killer aswell actually she is far beter than Richter once you get used to her moves

This Castlevania is the best of all the none RPG stats Castlevania's for me, so lets hope this translation gets finished

This is the true Prequal to Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

Symphony of the Night actully has an error in it after it was translated and basicly says that it follows on from Castlevania - Bloodlines/The New Generation for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive when infact the lil intro battle is from Dracula X for TG16/PC Engine.

you don't know if they sort out whats supposed to happen in that room with the mirror on the ghost ship, if that does anything at all?

What mirror on the ship?

The only mirror I remember isn't on the ship at all but is on a level with skelletal creature's and you see something in one of the mirrors (Don't want to give spoilers) but nothing apart from that happens.

There is a painting on the ship that does stuff (Not saying what though that would be a spoiler )

The game is fully functional so this translation does not fix anything as there is nothing to fix in it.

There is some problems with the emulation of the game for water area's but that's emulation side.

Edit: - yeah I found out about that ship mirror and yeah it's an Emu prob not anything to do with the actual CD

I may try it with another emu and see what it looks like through that.

Anyway would be great to see this game translated. I played this a while back and was very impressed with it.

Neh it doesn't do anything for you, but you never know there are still things being discovered all the time with this and symphony of the night

Years since I played the game though

I did try with a diff emu though that I know gets rid of the water bug that Magic Engine shows but it's still just green when you visit it

The emu is Hu-Go but I would still go back to using Magic Engine anyway as it plays with CD Music far beter

Magic Engine does have an update in the works by the way

At start, you "kill" death. Rainy day. It's that one right?

Edit->On a side note, i'm always waiting for that trainer.

Yip but it still wasn't ever released in english you may have one of the earlier translations that got stopped by Konami in the past and it was never completed

Hmm the Trainer I made, I can send you now if you want but I need to know how you want it sent, through a messenger, (MSN or Yahoo) or FTP would be beter for me as I can use those now anything else I need mess on and set up.

I just got your PM as I wrote this so er yeah the trainer in now uploaded on this page in several parts anyway

Extract all the Zip files then you should get 5 RAR files then just extract Part 1 of the RAR's and it should give you a Dracula X Trainer 1.1.exe file
