This video didn't show it, but Jermaine O'neal was about to punch another fan too, the asshole poured soda and threw popcorn all over him. That was fucked up.

THAT IS CRAZY!
Man. He really needs to have some severe punishment for that. It wasn't like 1 hit, but he kept going and going.
Both players who punched fans have been indefinately suspended. Bravo!
I'm pretty sure incidents like this happen more than once yearly in all sporting events. I don't think alcohol had much to do with it really, the player was way too hot headed.
You're right.Originally Posted by Daedric

Also, another incident I remember is when El Hadji Diouf was spitting at Celtic fans and so forth and yet again, he's in trouble for a supposedly similar incident that happened only roughly a week or two ago. He was fined by his club, fined by the F.A. and took to court.
Not only that, but the Spain V England game was marred by racist chants and monkey noises everytime a black English player got near the ball.
Sport is always marred by bad blood, unfortunately.
I need, I want, I care, I weep, I ache, I am. I said, I am.
That's some crazy sh*t. I don't get why Artest #81 hit that other player though.Originally Posted by [ForeverZero]
The players deserved to get thrown at. They are there for one reason, and thats to play basketball, not to bitch and fight eachother. It isnt god damn hockey
Well, let's put it this way, No Alcohol = no glass bottles being thrown at others...Originally Posted by Daedric
Good thing i think so.
From the vid it looked like a plastic cup. Someone else take a look.
Uh, complete bullshit. They were playing basketball. If I recall, it was Wallace who started the fight, and Artest did nothing until stuff was thrown at him.Originally Posted by Borman
I never said that. The players were probably already pissed off to begin with and the fan had no reason to thorugh crap at the player.Originally Posted by Ultimate X
