GTA3 Problem

The game runs pretty slow. Anyway to fix that??

Specs:
855MHz
16mb Nivida graphics card
Windows ME
58X Cdrom Drive

How much ram do you have ? and what type ?

I don't own the game, but a better graphics card with more memory will make the game run better.

Try this this should increase the preformance a little bit :

Lock the swap file on 1GB min and 1GB max
Or 500MB min and 500MB max
Just make sure that the min is the same as the max

well middle of the road grafics cards aren't priced all that high anymore. and it will make a big difference in most of your games. I seen a geforce 4mx for less then $150. I now the mx series has its nuts cut off but it's cheap. I got my geforce 2mx with 64 megs ram for $66 about 6 months ago.

yes it does this game is a direct port from ps2 you can tell , it runs like crap even on my system. try to run at 800x600 and relax the settings ALOT turn off accoustic sound thingy

it's a file that windows uses to increase you RAM temporarily this takes a percentage of your CPU and HD so if you lock the size your CPU and HD willl have more power for other things like Games
