Yes I have and I'm not proud of it. Stealing is retarded. I'm sure this thread will last all of 5 minutes.

Thats no way to keep a thread alive.

Anyway, I have stolen something before. Did I say something?
What I mean is stuff. More then one object.
Admitting that I have done theft is enough talk from me.
It's all in the past though, more than 8 years ago.

I dunno if it's been said, but...aint we all stealing games here? Maybe it's not physically stealing them, but aint it stealing nonetheless?

Hell, even if you aren't downloading games, you're hanging around on a message board on a site that caters to the needs of those who do, so it seems a bit silly to me to say that stealing is retarded.

Downloading isn't stealing. Maybe stealing bandwidth, but nothing more.

Well, I think copyright infringement is a far cry from physically stealing something. Besides, were I stealing something from you I'm sure you wouldn't exactly appreciate it...

I guess that may be true, but it's a pretty bleak realzation. Then again, punishment doesn't ever really seem to deter people...

Edit: Stoled is not a word people...If you want to steal something fine. If you regret all of the things you've stolen fine. If your girlfriend stole your balls, fine. But please stop with the stoled.

With all due respect, that's a pretty poor rationalization. You're still getting something for free when you should've payed for it.

I wasn't actually making a rationalization of the statement, just making the statement. Say for instance I download Seiken Densetsu 3. Who is getting hurt by that? It's not having a negative impact on anyone. Nobody loses anything. The only argument you can make is that one is entitled to compensation based on the labor that they do. What is it that entitles them? An arbitrary law? And even at that, it's not like there is any way to "compensate" those who created the game. Besides, that long after a game is out one wouldn't even expect to gain any more profit from it.

However, if I were to begin breaking into people's houses and stealing their video games, that would be a lot different.

You can't really argue that the two are the same.

Indeedy, there are quite a few people out there with no scrooples at all. I heard that one guy where I used to live, drove a crane down my street, opened up someones hood on thier car, lifted the engine out in broad daylight and drove off. Call it fearlessness or stupidity, he just didn't care at all.

Then why did you start this thread to brag?

Sorry Kazuya, but there's just nothing cool, or punk about stealing.

Hey, I never said it was cool or punk. I actually agree with you on that.
The thread is here to talk about it. I'm not scared to admit I did it.
So don't assume I'm some punk intent on being cool by telling you I stole in the past.

I actually wasn't referring to you. I was just making a slight jab at the guy who started the thread.

Edit: I think I should clarify what I was actually referring to was your comment about no way to keep a thread alive.
