hi people.i need some help.i want someone to tell me how to use magic engine emulator.also i found some pc engine isos .do they need an emu to play?can someone explain all these?

OK

First magic engine does not support ISO's but if you use DAEMON Tools a CD emulator to run the ISO's it will work that way.

What version of Magic Engine r u using? (I can explain better knowing what version you have (Also is it the Demo version?))

What ISO's have you found and were r they?

the version is 0.9.9 beta and yes it is a demo version :

i dont have an iso yet. i am downloading one from http://necstasy.free.fr/isoemerald.htm.check it .

I know the site try http://www.pcengine.it/main.htm it has ISO's as well as Magic Engine 0.9.9 beta 2 plus the PCE.key file that makes it the full version (gets rid of the time limit thing).

"DAEMON Tools" is the name of the tool your looking for.

You should find Magic Engine very easy to use but if you get stuck I'll help you.

If your wondering about the system cards you don't need them now they are built into Magic Engine now

ok. when i ll finish downloading an iso i ll ask for your help.pce key works fine.these isos pc engine.it has are playstation isos?and the isos i told you to check on the other site are they gonna play with magic engine?i will ask for your help on how to do the boot cd magic engine says.i am ok for now .

nope the ISO's at pcengine.it are all for the PC Engine not the PSX.

Thats the first place I got my ISO's from.

I can't confirm this but they should work fine.

You can get daemon's tools right here at emuparadise alongwith an FaQ on how to use it. What you have to do is scroll down a bit on the site, look at the EXTRAS menu and go to the utilities section, also, you should check out the HELP section for the faqs (also under Extras).

Although you may not need system cards for Magic Engine the copatabillity for the sound is sometimes beter with the system cards and sometimes beter without them

You can get them from:-

They are in the Bios Image page under [Extras]
found lower down on the main page

once you have them just extract the zips to the main directory of Magic Engine

Yes that will work fine, you might wan't card 1 and 2 aswell

Just put the syscard3.pce in the Magic Engine folder the one with the emulator it's self.

When you run Magic Engine and go to Run CD you will have a choice of using the built in System cards or the ones you downloaded.
