I like legacy much better cos it makes reading easier.

In legacy you have: post, sig, post, sig and so on.
in the new one you have: postbit, post, sig, postbit, post, sig, postbit, etc.

I want to read the posts, I don't really need to read or scroll all the postbits in every post. Thats' why, when having a quick look at the threads, the legacy style is much more convenient, regardless of the blank space left.

Look at a post like Gare's, nice sig in size, medium avatar, there's barely unused space and I don't have the postbits in between the body of the posts and sigs. It looks great.

Oh, I'm surprised nobody did it yet, but I just swapped Sprung's vote. Can't remove/move his name that I know of, but I took out the vote from new and added it to Legacy per his post.

Okay so I made it optional in the profile now. Does this work for everyone ? It's in General Settings.

Edit: It only worked the first time I changed it. Now it's stuck at the Legacy postbit no matter which option I choose.

I tried changing between them a couple of times, it seems to work just fine for me.

Edit: Oh, and like some other people, I'm also in favor of getting rid of all the coloured bars and Achievements.

I've just altered a setting in the AdminCP. It wouldn't change before that. It seems okay now.

What Cookie said is a blatant lie. Some people DID want to change to the new postbit.

Also, I voted for the wrong one. A fail is I, and I'd like someone to change my vote.

There's no option (that I can see) to remove someone from the list of voters. I can reduce the vote count on one option, then add it to the other.

None of this matters now since there's the option to use both...

Oooooh, then maybe you should make a note saying that voting is now useless, because I thought the option was there so people could try them both and see which one they want to vote for. Especially since the edit is preceded by "Whilst it would be possible to implement both styles, it would be too much work to maintain both sets of templates. So, it's time to choose the one you prefer, the poll will close in one week. After that, no complaints about the postbit will be catered to."

If you want to interpret my words literally that's up to you, but no lie was said, the fact is that a large majority preferred what we always had. Even now, that we've been forced to use the new postbit for some years, people still seem to prefer the legacy one. That means something.
