Digital, especially by cloud makes things easier to store.

I prefer physical copies as they are much more reliable and data can be accessed any time whereas digital copies can be deleted by mistake and we have to re download it again.

Digital, for quickness, physical for collecting. Usually prefer physical.

I like digital because you can't really harm it unless you try really, really hard to hack it or something. But I love physical as it's not dependent on being connected to the online service.

I'm getting annoyed with how big the file size of modern games are becoming. Running out of storage space is an issue, also if you have slow internet or monthly data caps it can limit how many games you can download. Although nowadays, even if you have a physical copy, the game may still receive enormous patch updates which undermines the point of having a physical copy. There are advantages to digital copies but personally I like having a tangible library of games displayed on my shelf. Maybe a lot of that comes from nostalgia.

Boxes with artwork and tangible goodies are really nice, but the convenience of digital is awesome.

I prefer digital as you can't break or damage them, the only thing that can go wrong is if there's a problem with the hardware which could also affect the physical copy. You can also have a couple of games downloaded on a handheld to take with you but it's a lot more of a pain with physical copies. There is something satisfying about a physical copy though and they usually come with other stuff inside them like manuals and codes for a website but I normally don't use them.

Depends. I've gone full digital on my Switch (because of course), but I also have an irrational fear of rights issues making digital games unplayable or losing access to those digital games. At least with physical copies once you have a game, you own it.

Probably still irrational, but the close of classic movie streaming service FilmStruck is making me weary of digital-only.
