What the heck.. These are the current results.

Is emulation illegal ?
39.4% - No, Never!!
35% - I don't care
19% - Roms are illegal, not emus
6.4% - Yeah, as bad as warez

What is wrong with this picture..? Why on earth would people say it's never illegal?

emulation is legal it is having roms that you dont own the actuall game for that make it illegal. that is my opinon tho.

More people say it never is than say only roms are illegal..

Its probably already been said, but Emulation is not illegal, but rather the roms are.

Sigh.. as I said I know, but look at the concept of the poll.
One option was "Roms are illegal, not emus" yet the option "No, Never!!" was chosen more.
Emulation is a "whole" meaning Emulators and Roms, they do squat alone..
I believe the point everyone has missed is.. People are voting nothing about the process is illegal.
Which obviously isn't the case..
Had their not been a "Roms are illegal, not emus" option I may not have cared to post this..

I was tempted to choose "I don't care" but I guess I really do care so I voted for the "roms are illegal, not emulators" choice.
Although they're *cough* legal if you own the original game, at which point the ROM serves no purpose.

Emulators are basicly illegal, contradictive to what you have heard..

Not always, only the ones that use reverse engineering are illegal, in no other way are they illegal.
