Default Got new graphics card, slowdown issues.

I recently got a new graphics card, and now Pete's OpenGL 1.76 won't work. It's really slow, and I can't seem to fix it.

    What graphics card?

Anyway, try updating your version of Pete's OGL.

OpenGL2 doesn't even work with me; it just crashes ePSXe.

The graphics card is an nVidia GeForce FX 5500. Kind of outdated, but it was better than the old one (though the old one didn't have this problem).

I've got other plugins that work; thing is the Soft plugin is, well, soft and causes graphics to be fuzzy, and Pete's D3D doesn't show the battle menu for Final Fantasy games. I really don't know what's wrong or how to fix it.

try installing the latest drivers or reinstalling them, that "gdi generic" thing sounds like it doesn't recognize the card.

Increase the Off-Screen drawing to at least 2 and the battle menus will show with Pete's D3D plugin.

Also, update your card's drivers as Pelger said, and update DirectX:

And forget about OpenGL2 with your card, it's too old.

OpenGL and D3D should both work though.
Try OpenGL again after you update both DirectX and your card's drivers.
    Otherwise stick with D3D.
