if you have a 3dfx card,it's lewpy's glide plugin. it looks great,you have to pump up the direct3d and opengl plugins to the best settings in order to get an equivalent image quality,and it's the fastest one,you can run epsxe at great frame rates or even full speed in simple 2d games,on a pentium 1 133mhz 16mb ram! (I remember like 50 fps in tekken games...great considering the processor. try epsxe in such a computer with any other card and direct3d or opengl plugins,and you'll get 10 or 20 fps at most).
if you don't have a 3dfx card,pete direc3d or pete opengl (direct3d is faster on lower end system).
