    Google's your friend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electro...ment_Expo_2014

Place your bets, though: whose press conference will the most awkward and facepalm inducing this time?

Just this upcoming week, Tuesday through Thursday. Stuff starts rolling before the actual convention though.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

EA or Ubisoft I was going to nominate Nintendo but according to the wiki they aren't making a press conference.

    Spoiler warning:

Ubisoft (I almost expect a Watch Dogs 2 announcement), EA (this is pretty much given), and probably Microsoft since they're on a roll with bad press conferences.

Anyone care to throw out predictions on some stuff we might see? I'll start:
-MGSV Phantom Pain release date (late 2015) along with the new trailer
-Info about Last Guardian coming to PS4 at an unspecified time in the next decade
-Project Beast being revealed as a PS4 exclusive with a new shiny official trailer
    -Shadow of the Beast info
-New Last of Us PS4 bundle for $400
-Vita memory card price reduction (wishful thinking)
-A slew of HD upgrades (GTA5, GT6, Dark Souls 2, etc)
Other stuff pretty much given would be a new Zelda trailer, some pokemanz junk, more Smash Bros coverage, a slew of sports titles from EA including a new golf game (non Tiger Woods), CoD CoD CoD coverage, Halo coverage and about a million indie titles that no one will give much attention to.

I'm hoping for some general surprises though - I wanna see some new IP's that totally come out of left field, or some old forgotten stuff that is getting a massive reboot. I know that's a lot to ask, but it is E3 and since it's not a console reveal year, I would expect there to be some big surprises to keep momentum flowing - especially with Sony. They clearly nailed it last year, and I hope they've learned their lesson and don't piss away this year.

This HD update craze is getting ridiculous.

I didn't mind it when they were updating PS2 games to 1080p - that made sense since most of those games weren't even widescreen capable, but this new shit where they're just bumping up the resolution from 720 to 1080 and increasing the draw distance is pretty ridiculous, especially since they still like to charge full price for the games. If they were $30 or $40 tops, I wouldn't care at all, but $60? Come on man.

I'm not really hyped with this year's E3, dunno why :/

But where do I have sign to see all your predictions made real?

If all these predictions magically come true, I think someone should let me take over Michael Pachter's job (he's that asshat professional game/sales analyst that makes wild predictions and is wrong 95% of the time).

Is Microsoft’s conference ending with Phil Spencer sealing the doors shut while the Cloud™ reenacts the ending of Terminator 3 too far fetched?

I'll throw $20 into the betting pot on that one

I wonder why Phil left Sony - I always kinda liked that guy.

Nah, he left a long ass time ago. I think it was either before or right around the PS3 reveal. They were at their best when he bailed out.

I bet MS made him an offer he couldn't refuse - by sticking a gun to his head

E3's been shit for so many years now, haven't been hyped for it since god knows when.

Nonetheless... Project Beast could change that, or some new, unexpected announcements. And The Last Guardian.

    FF7 REMAKE ANYONE?! lolol

Edit: Go to my thread nao!
