Speakers, Microphones, Mixers, Racks, Lights, House Speakers, etc.
What I'm worried about most are the Microphones, Speakers, and Mixers. With a few Projectors sprinkled in, but those we can rent and still make money.
We're losing a LOT of money by just renting, when we could make our money back in one day with purchasing the items we need.
A lot, if I'm being completely honest. We have an event coming up on Monday through Friday next week, and we rented our equipment. We're losing $1,800 or so. Doesn't help we're giving them over $3,000 worth of A/V Equipment for free, thanks to the sales guy "cutting them a deal." (But that also means I don't get my cut either, I get "tips" that are about a quarter of what the A/V costs are, so I'm getting fucked over as well).
This place is a joke, and I'm one of the lowest paid A/V Supervisors in the whole company.
