"Two can play at this game." ~ Raistlin to Raistlin

(In case you don't get the quadruple meaning, one is red robe Raistlin and the other black robe Raistlin who is Master of Past and Present and can see all time at once)

I would like to author a Dragonlance novel that has Earth's people roleplaying Krynn who are roleplaying Krynn because that's what the people of Krynn are doing, roleplaying roleplayers of Earth called The Fourth Wall.

Who's to say that's not happening? So, what came first the dragon or the egg?
The cozy warmth of the Inn of the Last Home enveloped the group of friends like an old, familiar blanket. The fire crackled merrily in the hearth, and the scent of Otikโ€™s famous spiced potatoes wafted through the air. As the Heroes of the Lance sat around their usual table, the evening took an unexpected turn when Tasslehoff Burrfoot posed a peculiar question.

"What came first, the dragon or the egg?" Tas asked, his eyes wide with curiosity as he munched on a piece of bread.

Flint Fireforge grumbled from his seat, setting down his mug of ale with a thud. "Bah! What kind of nonsense is that, Tas? Everyone knows dragons were created by the gods. The egg came later."

"Actually, Flint," interjected Tanis Half-Elven, leaning forward with a thoughtful expression, "if you consider the cycle of life, it makes sense that the egg could have come first. Dragons lay eggs, after all."

Caramon Majere, ever eager to join the debate, leaned back in his chair, grinning. "But if there were no dragons to lay the eggs in the first place, how could there be eggs?"

"I suppose itโ€™s possible that dragons simply appeared, fully formed, by magic," mused Goldmoon, her serene voice adding a touch of calm to the heated discussion.

"Thatโ€™s preposterous," Sturm Brightblade scoffed, his sense of knightly logic offended by the idea. "Dragons are creatures of legend, yes, but they must follow the natural order of things. The egg came first."

Tika Waylan, setting down a tray of drinks she had been carrying, couldnโ€™t resist chiming in. "Maybe they both appeared at the same time! Magic can do anything, right?"

Raistlin Majere, who had been quietly observing the debate with a knowing smile, finally spoke. His voice was soft but carried an air of finality. "I can see all time as Master of Past and Present, and itโ€™s beyond me."

The group fell silent for a moment, contemplating the enigmatic wizardโ€™s words. Then, unexpectedly, laughter erupted around the table. The tension dissipated, replaced by the camaraderie they all cherished.

"Alright, alright," Tas said, still chuckling. "Letโ€™s just imagine what it would be like if we were from another world, like, oh, I donโ€™t know... Earth! What would they think about dragons and eggs?"

"I bet theyโ€™d have endless debates, just like us," Tanis replied, grinning.

"Maybe theyโ€™d write stories about it," Tika suggested. "Theyโ€™d probably have whole books just trying to figure it out."

"And argue about it on some sort of magical devices," added Caramon, trying to sound wise.

Raistlinโ€™s eyes sparkled with rare amusement. "Indeed, they would. Perhaps they would find it as amusing as we do."

As laughter filled the Inn of the Last Home once more, the Heroes of the Lance continued their night, secure in the warmth of friendship and the shared joys of their adventures, whether in Krynn or in the imagined realms beyond rolling D&D dice in the Earth roleplaying game roleplaying Earth's roleplayers.

"It's a question of who is imagining who and what we imagine being what we are imagining because it imagines what we are imagining."

Because they are casting fart spells in an Earth RPG.

However, that's not counting the people of Ravenloft roleplaying us, it's connected to every D&D world via portals, including Krynn. That's why Lord Soth laid waste to and conquered vast swaths of Ravenloft becoming one its most powerful and dreadful rulers. There are good people trapped there too and while they are rare they band together to survive its many horrors.

    https://dragonlance.fandom.com/wiki/Loren_Soth

So, every D&D world is roleplaying us not just because of Ravenloft, every D&D world is connected by Realmspace and people of Forgotten Realms are also roleplaying us.

We will run simulation genre games of D&D worlds eventually and it is inevitable they will play an Earth RPG because they are in a magical setting and can augur signs of our world with magic divinations. In their magical world setting they can in turn simulate us in their world because they know we're running simulations, it's indeterminate who is a product of whose imaginations. 'Magic' is merely the laws of physics in their setting.

I'd post the evil and horrific aspects of D&D roleplaying us that its heroes face in the simulation genre game we will eventually create, but it suffices to paraphrase.

โ€œWhoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.โ€ ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

In Latin it is abyssus abbysum invocat, one abyss begets another. But heroes win in the end despite casualties by not becoming the monsters they fight.

Ponder that as the audience hears the word combination announced in rapid succession.

In order to play as Stellerex in Neverwinter Nights take four levels of Fighter to specialize in trident and still spell to cast spells in any magical light armor or medium armor you find to not be encumbered by heavy armor. His Strength is 10 and his Dexterity is 16 with weapon finesse feat to have +3 attack bonus. Make every other ability score at 10 and use Intelligence as the dump stat. In Hordes of the Underdark whatever you take as a weapon focus will be found in two magic chests as a random magic weapon in the first chapter, you'll get two magic tridents and take weapon focus(trident) as Fighter at level 2. Use evocation spells to force open locked chests.

Enserric the Lonsword is not as effective as Enserric the Dagger for a Wizard because it swings faster and regenerates your HP vampirically much faster, tell it you're not in need of a longsword and to be a dagger instead, use it to heal with Stoneskin spell to recover from damage. It also weighs less and reduces encumbrance of two tridents and armor in your inventory.

    https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/w..._the_Longsword

His spell selection is Evocation and Abjuration, learning spells from other schools by scribing scrolls he finds to his spellbook. His spell school is Generalist.

Stellerex is an evil asshole but he wants to kill Strahd or die trying like the heroes are and it makes it likely he'll switch sides to accomplish it. He befriends people then turns on them after he got what he wanted, tremendous malevolent dick but wise adventurers know what his reputation is and to turn on him preemptively when they get what they wanted too or end up slain.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strahd_von_Zarovich

There's a backstory to Iron & Blood that most derp I don't read books people are unaware of and they review it as a bunch of characters they think are exclusive to a game in a magic arena. Yes, it's not the best game ever but it has 3D elements that are well designed and there's a story behind it for whoever knows it and the perceived lack of a storyline in a fighting game is because it's not an RPG so even people who play RPGs and don't read much are possibly playing the wrong game. Things aren't always what you expect them to be so that it caters to your liking in a review based on your awareness and perception or lack thereof. My review is reviewers should read more.
