    I can't type blind at all. Heck, I can't even touch type. I can however, type 40 WPM with only two fingers, so just imagine if I did use all of them .

    I type bind/not blind, I glance at the keyboard every once in a while to c where my finger placement is, I type the fastest that way. But I can perfectly type blindly, but its easier to look every so often. I usually time blindly when I am writing an essay or when I am writing a paragraph for a post, for example, this one

    Edit: By the way, I use all fingers on all hands, but I can use one hand only

    Hehe, only if I could do math at the same time.

    Thought, it does seem hard to use 1 hand.

    Typing blind? It seems fairly simple...after all, it is merely a matter of memorization of where the keys are relative to the F and J keys, which, as they possess small ridges to allow identification without tlooking, can be used to establish a baseline.

    Wow. I was...close. The only mistake was where I started typing 'touching' instead of 'looking', since I didn't erase far enough. -_-;

    Well, the proper way to type is to use the baseline, I dont use that, my hands randomly fly all over the keaboard. LOL

    i just keep my hands over most keys and i just type what i want to but sometimes i just look at my fingers just to see if im hitting the right keys.and usually i can type faster for some strange reason.i know where all the keys are but i just cant remember them and i get them confused sometimes so thats why i look sometimes.

    I can, but I don't. I just find it easier to type while looking down.

    Exactly my case, I myself always type without looking at the keyboard and really fast too, so there . But then again, the Number keys really throw me off... Hmm an interesting point to note would be that I can type blind and extremely fast on my own PC's and their keyboards, but when I have to use a new keyboard it takes me around 20-30 minutes to get used to it, that is, so I can type blind on them...

    Sadly, no.
    I have to be able to look at the keyboard- otherwise, I DIE.

    I can type blindly. I thought it didn't help a whole lot, so I always looked. That was back in about 6th grade. I could type about 40 wpm looking. Then I devoted myself to be able to type without looking and am now about 100 wpm.

    yeah, it is weird, I realized that a couple of days before this thread started. though I tried practising for normal typing but I can't right now, I've already learned it like this, but I'll try going to ormal typing that is if I have time and aren't doing a thing called homwork, lol.
