Default How do you build a homemade NES?

Does anyone know any good sites for this? I already found some schematics but some of the parts have me a bit concerned.

Why do you want to build a custom NES? I have never heard of anything like that. I have heard of using NES cases for PC cases.

I wanna do it for a tech honors project at school. the only really custom part utilized in the NES is the PPU (Picture Processing Unit) so i could just take it right out of a fresh NES. But there are a few parts that i'm not 100% sure of how to utilize on a breadboard such as the SIMM chips.

SIMM? i think you could use old-skool ram. 30 Pin i think it is, they used it in 286, and some 386 computers. you might be able to score some from your skool, raid their storage pits!

Speaking of cases, my friend fit a computer inside a video casing
