You've been got by a HOSTs hijack. Go grab SpyBot and Ad-aware and get rid of it.

Alright, i'll move this to Computer Tech if that's the issue then. Is Spybot Search and Destroy good?

EDTI: Shit.. I ran Lavasoft adaware 6 and Spybot Search and Destroy and removed everything. and it's still got the Browser Hijack... :\ Any sugesstions? Reg Edits? etc..?

I think I just had this problem.

Settings> Control Panel> System> Performance> File System

Click on the troubleshooting tab, and turn off system restore. Restart, and try getting rid of the thing again. Worked for me.

Yes Spybot Search & Destroy is the best freeware spyware,adware remover and CWShredder is a good program too. Adaware is a good trial version adware remover.

Here is what you should get which will get rid of most spyware and adware etc.

Spybot Search & Destroy

CWShredder

Adaware

btw CWShedder is the one that will fix the problem when your home keeps getting changed to something else.

Its amazing how spyware isnt illegal. Burns me up, makes me wanna kick somebody in the nuts for slowin down my computer. I dont care much anymore cause I've used spybot for a long time and it has never let me down. You have to be careful when using it though. It can cause Windows Media Player, MS Office not to work. No biggie, at least theres the undo. Btw, download cwshredder by using google. Always helps, if not www.altavista.com is good, and www.looksmart.com.
