Zeikhunter, i've never been able to connect to your ftp.
It always says ''to many users connect.''
And when it doesn't says it the server keeps asking
the password+login.

yea could you maybe allow a few more people or limit them to one file a day or something

one file a day? thats more inconvieneient that ive got it now. that means down-time while i figure out how to do it. and having a t1 line means jack because no matter how fast you download, i can only upload to you at a max of 45k. so do that math: 45k/10 users = 4.5k per user. so unless i change something else, youre gonna be getting 4-5k. i know other guys with this set up, and personally, i dont mind. i know the file's not going anywhere, and im a very patient person.

Being new to trading, and FTP, (but not to emulation) i don't know what your talking about, but I really want some of those games ur packing ma hommie.

CAN someone explain all this FTP stuff to me?

ok let's let zeikhunter breath a little before we bombard him with questions now i can help out a little

first: DJHavoc
depending on your isp you may be able to access an ftp by mearly copying and pasting an address into the tool bar at the top.however i do recommend that you use smartftp as that has worked best in my experience.just run a search with smartftp as the keyword.with that all you have to do is type in the address minus the "ftp://" part.

i'm not sure personally about cuteftp as i didn't find it very user friendly.i use smartftp as i stated before however since zeikhunter has a limit of ten users at a time it will be easily filled up fast i ask you to have a little patience in this respect as eventually there will be a spot open and you can access it the files are not going anywhere.zeikhunter has been nice enough to have these files available for us let's not ruin that by bombarding him with questions thank you for your time

thx jerem. i do have the limit of 10, and its usually pretty full. im not pointing fingers, but there are people that have been logged on since the 3rd of april. since its a public service, i cant really say anything, but a suggestion, if i may- get a game you want, and give someone else a shot. i realize it takes a while to dl these games, but i mean, some people have been on long enough to get several psx ga,es in 1 session. i know the speeds suck guys, but if you want to trade for stuff at higher speeds, im all ears

Actually, the speeds are pretty decent, all things considered. I've downloaded several games from your ftp, and my speed rarely drops below 50k per sec.

ok guys, gettin a new HD in a day or 2, which will put me past 350 GB. more space means more games! so id like to inspire you to upload to me.

here are some stats:
KB uploaded (total ive sent to people = 78,332,997 Kb/2281 files sent

Kb Downloaded (total people have sent to me) 3,089,240 Kb/47 files

2117 people have logged on in the few weeks ive been running this. i love that fact that i can help yall out like this, but id really like to keep expanding, but itd be alot easier if you guys'd help out by uploading. the regular account is set to up/down, but since its limited to a few users, ive set up a strictly upload account: login-upload, pass-upload. its only for psx upload. i wont beg, but i really would love to expand what i can share.

edit: theres one of you guys with the ip # 217.xxx.xxx.118. that person keeps hammering my ftp, and keeps getting temp-banned. but since hes been hammering dor days now, he (or she) stays banned. whoever's doing that, plz calm down with it.
