    Default PS2 RPGs

Hey I'm trying to find some good RPGs for PS2. So far, none have interested me at all except Star Ocean and Final Fantasy XII which havn't come out yet. So are there any that are currently out that would be a good buy?

Wild Arms 3 is REALLY great. Easily one of my favorite RPG's ever. it's really intresting. The storyline is awesome and the gameplay's cool.

Dark Cloud 2, unless you suck at video games, then you can go with a square RPG

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Xenosaga is too short, and, if not for the exception of two or three boss fight, way too easy.

people generally play console RPGs for the story, not the difficult gameplay That's where PC RPGS come in if you want a challenge
The leader is never the idiot, rather the people who follow....

I prefer too just go to a game like disgeae or darkcloud 2, that way you get everything :

    RPG
    Console
    Story
    Gameplay

you don't have to make any sacrifices just for a brand name

    Problems with Dark Cloud 2:
    Dungeons:
Repetitive, repetitive dungeons. If you like bright colours and originality, you won't be pleased.
    The "Idea" System:
VERY illogical. Combine a picture of a robot guy, the moon and rockets to get a double-edged sword. Hurrah?
    The Game Itself:
Ages to get anything, as resources take ages to buy and shit.

    Score: 8/10

I recommend Breath Of Fire V: Dragon Quarter. I loved it to death, with the SOL system and all.

Challenging fun dungeons, with specefic goals, such as only using certain weapons, in order to create variety.

The Idea system, for the most part logical, and easy to figure out, and all in all, non-important to the game, so doesn't really matter.

rescources are easy to buy, as a smart player gets that guy who works on the train to make super bombs every 23 minutes, and then sells those for more then enough cash.

I recommend Grandia II. It's just a damn fine RPG, with a great story, battle system, music... Try it!
