Well you guys are overworried about homemade fireworke displays. I have been handling fireworks since I was a small child. It's only dangerous if you are extremely stupid. You can be a little stupid and not get hurt as long as you use at least a little common sense.
Well I'm not so extremely stupid as to let a small child handle fireworks that's just not common sense at all.

Okay.. A little child can't help but not really know the danger of fireworks, so the only person/people that were extremely stupid were your parents.

I've seen what can happen to people at homemade firework displays even when the appropriate distances are set, etc, it's not pretty. There's no such thing as being too careful and safety must always come first.

Went to a fare last night followed by a 15 minute fireworks display, both of which were brilliant, i haven't been to either before in my life, I personally won't forget it anytime soon.

and for some odd reason i bought a lightsaber type thingy.. must be what they call impulse

lol the guy behind me looks totally out of it. and it was only 8:00.

When I say small child I meant that I was being assisted by adults in lighting and shooting them off. So it wasn't that dumb. I guess it is because I have always been told the safety since I was little I don't even think about it, and it becomes natural since I practiced it. Sorry if I sounded stupid there.

What a weird day to celebrate! Celebrating a terrorist who got caught with bombs and stuff by making some fireworks.
Next year i'm celebrating WTC....Oh wait, they never got caught.

On a side note, I hope no one got injured this year and everyone had fun.
