Problems with that include that you have to know assembly first, and not only that, it's more open to bugs since you have to write more lines of code than the shrinked down IHLL.Originally Posted by Akuma

I need, I want, I care, I weep, I ache, I am. I said, I am.
Hey Nima.
Yup, it's a very hard task and he deserves much praise for trying to do this, but like I said, he would have a better chance with more than him doing it, he needs a team.
That Dragon Tear is mines bitch!
This looks like a job for......TEAM THEO!!! Anyway, what's this new emu gonna be called???
Lol, what will it be called?Originally Posted by Akuma
I'm not too good at names myself. I'll take any good suggestions there. And about team theo, i think theres only one person at the moment.
OMGWTF sounds like a good name. Would be the best emulator name ever.
I'll seriously consider it.Originally Posted by Deach

Just an idea..

I'll throw some names out there... Sonic Saturn or Saturn Express (if it's fast enough to live up to the name), SEMU ("S"aturn "EMU"lator), or BSE (Bitchin' Saturn Emulator) LOL! Or hell, just call it RINGS
Oh, oh, wait! Call it SEX (Saturn Emulator X) Now that rocks LOL!

SEX? I don;t think anyone would host an emulator called sex even if it capable of time travel, I like Saturn Express though, I'll keep a note of all these names and can christen it at an appropriate time.Originally Posted by Akuma
sos to double post but I'm wondering would anyone like to contribute to this project(info, programming, or just testing), You will be credited, I'm afraid thats all i can offer you really.
Since Saturn is an Astronomical body, why not name it accordingly.
I am partial to Prometheus
By the way, I can do some coding in C++ or Visual Basic. I have never really worked on anything like an emulator though :\

A good thought that never even popped into my head.
Edit: if you fancy trying I'm going to sort the project for the new year.

You could call it rings or something to go with the rings of saturn. If I could get a hold of some ISOs and/or demos I could help test. I could only give feedback on which ones work and what kind of errors they have. I have no experience with debuggers or programming. (unless you want to count BASIC for the TI-83)
I think that testing is going to be a very big factor, its almost as much help, and i appreciate the thought, I think its handy cos people have different isos and it saves me downloading every single one (very difficult lol)Originally Posted by Josh
perhaps I should make a list of people who would like to help?
SEX was the best emulator name ever. I just had to crack up to that.
