Default Best Ending Sequence

This topic pops up every now and then. So what do you people think? Which ending was the most satisfying one, the most beautiful one or the coolest ever?

I have to put my money on Metal Gear Solid 3. Obviously. That ending was PURE perfection. Very satisfying and slighly depressing. YAY!

I liked the ending of Chrono trigger.
I know there are many endings for the game but I liked the
one where Chrono and marle were haning on the balloon. Very emotional

Can't think of anything, so I'm going to say Planescape: Torment. Everyone get it now.

You need to send me it.

Since it's been so long since I've finished a game. I'll say... Star Wars: KoTOR!

I'm concurred to say MGS3 as well. Full of emotion and just the right amount of action, tragic, yet epicly cinematic. MGS1 is a close runner-up, for dealing with larger dose of philosophy and being good at that. Xenosaga Episode: I also deserves a mention for an outstanding escape scene. =]

The ending for MGS1 was amazing. I think MGS2's was kind of a mindfuck, but I don't remember too well.

Super Mario Bros. 3. Best ending in the world. =P
Nah. I don't really have a favorite ending. Ocarina of Time was pretty good.

Ocarina of Time, the most cinematic game ending I've experienced cos erm...I haven't compleated many games released this century. And Link to the Past kicked a lot of arse too, along with Super Mario World if when you've compleated all the levels.

I finished Eternal Darkness. The ending is sick. The twist if you finish the game with all 3 alignments is crazy.
Also, I just finished BG&E. Also good ending. Didn't have to say much, but I thought it was cool.

Hmm one of the most gut cutting endings was an oldie Amiga platform game called "Flood" after countless hours of playing and dogding and jumping and shooting and dying and frustrating(?) I finally bloody finished the stupid thing and got the little green blob out of the sewers and onto the safety of the surface world and lo and behold the last sequence shows a car wheel squishing the little guy into a puddle of green goo...The End AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that pissed me off back then but now, looking back, tis very funny

Best ending goes to Ice Climber... Yes...

Close runner-up: Ogre Battle 64 with 0 Chaos Frames... Totally Awesome!!

In fact, the entire ending to the Ogre Battle series as a whole has got to be the most tragic ending in all the history of videogames... To sit there, waiting for another chance to shine, only to be ignored time and again on account of "better", J-pop inspired games... What a tragedy...

About time they came up with a sequel... Lazy bastards at Square-Enix... Yes, ENIX is also partly responsible, now that they've merged and haven't actually cared to revive one of the most awesome licenses they have... Alas... Quest is no longer there to push development on the game...

Wha...? Oh, yeah, wrong thread...
