Thread: How to transfer data from pc to pc?

    For 10gb or less, transfer with a crossover cable, otherwise, taking the hdd out and putting it in the other pc is probaly the best solution.

    Okay guys, Ive set up the network and i think it is working fine. I can even use internet from the other computer using this internet connection. BUT I CANT FIND A WAY TO TRANSFER FILES!!! Some help pronto!! I am very pissed and cat take it anymore!!! what should i do?

    EDIT: I already installed netbeui, but i dont know what to do with it.

    you don't do anything with netbui, actually. Go to 'My network places'. Click on 'View workgroup computers' on the left pane. I you see both computers you're good. otherise, more info is needed.

    OH MY GOD, dude you know magic or something? I dont know why, but before you told me that I had tried it but it wouldnt open the remote computer, but now it opened!!! THANKS (for your luck). I should use u as my lucky charm or something haha!!!e

    Would it make a difference if you used the HD with the data as a Master and the new HD as a slave?
