Well, I believe this is so-called mid-sized case, but it doesn't have "slots" for HDD drives. Maybe you can see the thing in this cropped photo.

That duct tape was like the thing I meant. But you could maybe attach them some other way too. Or make your very own thing for them.
    Have you seen me before?

well, some mid-towers have 3.5 bays going all the way down. you might want to look into a full tower... they have more slots and are taller.

[edit] yea, you could make your own case, but you'd need to buy the ide to usb cables, and the power converter...

I'm going to get a laptop too, but after the army.
If the basic HD's used in laptops have not increased in size so much that I could store all my data there, I probably leave my desktop computer as a personal server and copy data as necessary to the laptop. But you don't have the desktop computer then right? So that wouldn't be your solution.

yea I am going to (most likly) get rid of my desktop but i want a big hd for like backups or just holding unimportant files i fiddle with so my main hard drive doesn't get screwed up with like needing to defrag (hold games and main programs on there while core os is on the laptop)

well, good luck on getting a good price on it... cheapest I've seen is $20-30.

haha yea but a enclosure + big hard drive is cheaper than a enclosure/hard drive already made... that was my point.
