I hope somebody can help me with the names of two movies of asian horror.
The first one is about a girl who climbs a stone stairs of stone steps...I don't know very well but it's like those stairs that lead to a sanctuary or something like that.
The second one is more strange, I have only seen a poster, but I think it's korean.
In the poster there are two little girls seated in big chairs, but their faces are really pale...
I know I'm asking too much, but I hope someone helps me, thanks!
sorry no idea... maybe try looking around IMDB and just taking stabs at the title cause sometimes the title can be dead obvious. but yeah i guess someone else might be able to help you
I loved....
Akira
7 Samurai
My Sassy Girl
and some other stuff.
I hated the Gurdge or Ju-on or whatever you call it. Just as dumb as the american remake. No offense to those of you who love them. I just didnt find the original or the remakes scary at all. This coming from someone who has been watching horror movies since I was 4, Demons, was my first I believe.

I don't know about the best movies, but I have seen some good ones.
Standout Asian cinema for me would be:
Audition
Time And Tide
Two Killers
Wild Zero
I'm yet to see the Japanese version of The Ring. The American remake had me laughing in the cinema so no, didn't think it was scary at all. Audition does a much better job of creating an uneasy mood which manages to permeate the whole film but then that isn't really a horror movie.
Other standout would be Wild Zero, if for no other reason than simply because it is utterly over-the-top in terms of characters, situations and dialogue.
I watch TONS of Japanese movies. I especially love the classics (things like Seven Samurai or Tokyo Story) I've even seen old silents going back to the 1920s. Recently I saw a musical with samurai from the 1930s... It was quite odd but funny.
Fixed topic title.
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."
Ju-On and Ringu, that was some scary stuff. Also watch some short asian clips.
Oh and there's Tetsuo the iron man. That movie is still awesome.
I espescially like the Japanese Horror movies. Over here MTV are broadcasting some of them and other asian movies.
