    Default PSU Recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good stable PSU? I'm looking for at least 6 molex connectors and 2-4 sata connectors. Going to be powering a AMD64 3500+, a GeForce 6600GT, 7 or 8 fans, 2 optical drives and 5+ hdds (3 sata, 2 pata, perhaps more in the future). I had my eyes on "ePOWER Tagan TG-480 ATX 480W" (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817101509) and "Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-480" (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103929) and "ENERMAX Whisper II EG565P-VE" (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103512) all of which have decent reviews and the amount/type of connectors I'm looking for. I have an Aspire 500w now and it has been working well but it lacks a sufficient number of molex/sata connectors. My budget is $100 give or take a few dollars.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I'd stick with Antec or Enermax. Take the Enermax.

Yes and Aspire...HEY, GET OUT OF YOUR FREAKING PARALLEL WORLD VIVI!
Seasonic is alright, just not as good as Enermax and Antec.

i agree, go with eitehr the antec or the enermax. The epower one has only a single +12 rail, which might be bad with so many harddrives. Antec and enermax both have dual 18A rails. I'd say the enermax might be slightly better than the antec due to a higher W rating and iirc it should be quieter

I find Enermax to be a bit more reliable than Antec since I saw more Antec PSU fail than Enermax. Antec is not to exclude though, they're in my top list, hell I'm using one at the moment.
