The counter lies in the fact that in your world Skinner8 rules. However in mine I rule. I think if this continues it will be quite obvious that this argument can not be won and this thread will turn into a spamfest.

Someone else, step forward and argue something that isn't based on opinion/biased facts.

Ok, for real this time. Recently, we have had quite a few threads about love, and relationships and whatnot. So, let's work on the term love. And I don't mean a definition, or some sort of scientific chemical reaction occuring, I mean the term. Like when one person says to another (and I don't mean like brother/sister family type love) 'I love you' (significant other type love), what are they really saying? I think the term is hugely abused, and people throw it around without understanding it's true meaning. Plenty of people claim they love a person, and will be with them forever, but that is a fantasy, and young people tend to do it a lot, and often end up heartbroken in no time flat. I think we are quite misguided, and just throw it out there. Some guys might do it in an attempt to get laid, and as noble of a cause as that is, it's not really love. And even in a relationship, you may like a person a lot, but do they love them? They say they do. But people breakup and get divorced all the time. Love is more of a thing that really belongs in movies and lasting relationships, not the 'I've gone out with her for a month, we are totally in love' deals. Or is it, Skinner?

Indeed. I believe in God, but there was some wisdom in Skinner8's post when he said not to discuss it. It usally leads to pointless arguments.
