    Exclamation XenoGears...no colors...

I recently downloaded XenoGears, and I wanted to play it on my chipped PAL PSX, but unfortuntaly, I don`t have a RGB-cable, so I went to the store to get one...guess what?! 60 Dollars!!? You`re kidding, right?!

So, I wonder if there is some way to convert it from NTSC to PAL?

Hmm... shouldn't a NTSC to PAL patch fix the color problem?

Are you trying to play it using an oldish TV? If you have a newer TV in your house, try playing it on that. NTSC games will work properly on PAL TVs if they a have 60Hz mode thingy.

The tv is only half a year old, I don`t have a 60 hz tv.

    Where can I get that?

The whole point of a patch is so that it won't need to be 60 hz after it is patched. Also if you can't find a patch that works you might try an import player.

I found a patch on MegaGames, I opened fix.exe, and chose the file path, and it said; "Your game is now NTSC/US!" How do I make it pal?

You could try using PAL4U and making your own patch... Just search 'PAL4U PSX' on Google or something and you'll find it... That's quite a good one...

I have tried that. It didn`t work, because I did a mistake, but I`m going to make a new one. I`ll report back here.

Is there a way to download like a CD-ISO of a swap-disc for PAL PSX that enables colours?

Yes there is. I'll get the link for you.

    Here you go: http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_utils_bootcd.shtml
Download ImportPlayer CD v2.0 Alpha 5 - PAL PS-One - CDRWIN [59 KB]. To fix the colours, when you boot the CD to the menu turn the video mode off and it should work.
