yeah I seen the one you posted in the old HO. I honestly wouldn't be using windows if I knew how to use some form linux that and I've become to used to using windows.

You got 2 decent alternatives, Linux Mint and ReactOS.

ReactOS is not a linux distro, it is a built from the ground up open source OS that is designed to run windows programs natively.

Well, first of all the links are pretty clear most of this was for the beta. Of course that was going to phone home.

Second, the installer for the full version explicitly tells you what data is collected and lets you disable any or all of it on first boot. Fair play none of that stuff should be enabled by default in the first place, but it spells it out in black and white and gives you the option before it even lets you use the thing. They couldn't have made it any more clear.
